So I seen this on some site, I can't remember to refrence it so if this was your tutorial originally please let me know so I can give you due credit.

Antiquing Paper:

Your tools:

First you need paper of course: I use a tan or beige card stock.
Your going to want to crinkle this paper up good a couple times to get the old weathered look before we start antiquing.

Once you have your paper, take a small cup or container fill the bottom with warm water, your only going to want to put in a small amount of instant coffee. It will make a light shade of coffee brown. You can baste this on your paper in a random pattern.

To get this to dry I put my oven on 200, and kept the door open and laid the paper on a cookie sheet and watched it, when it was dry I took the paper out and Added more coffee to my warm water for a darker coffee brown.

Wash over the paper in a contrasting pattern so that you don't cover everything you done the first time, but so that it does cover some to make a third color.

Your going to want to repeat the over process.

You can also pool the coffee/water mix and add a small amount off coffee ground to that pool to make the darkest shade. And once again dry it out.

Then I take my handy dandy lighter and  burn the edges of the paper, and some holes in random places. I keep a damp cloth on hand just in case the paper becomes engulfed in flames.
Where the wholes are look funny alone, so I antique another piece of paper and put it behind it.
You can do this as many times as you like.
Once you've followed these steps the rest is up to your creative ability.
I added golden eye shadow for example.

You should get something that looks like:

(Mind you this was my second attempt when I decided the one below [my first attempt] wasn't dark enough, I've since darkened the first, and add pictures of me and Mr. Besozzi, and created a third to put in my other silver picture frame.)

I'll post where I place these once we're into the new house with a link to this tutorial :)

This is some sort of crafting twine, I forget the name and some purple craft paper twisted up. I couldnt help but try it :)

The same craft twine and regular white household string. Using Allisons double color technique lol.

I decided this one needed some purdyness :) its some sort of hay string no name on it but seen it at the dollar store and snatched it lol.

And Now for a few shots of their home at the moment. In these bowls, in my hallway.
